If Apex Legends Private will not run, check your Windows version first: on Windows 11 or an unsupported Windows 10 version it will not work. You can see your version under Settings → System → About. The disk must also be GPT.
The wrong client is another common problem. A product that needs Steam may not work with a game launched from the EA app. If you play through the EA app, Crimson Internal or FPS are the matching options.
Antivirus software can sometimes block the loader. If that happens, follow the product’s setup steps and never change a setting you are unsure about; ask the support team instead.
