What do undetected Apex cheats mean?

Apex Legends is updated regularly, and each update can change the game’s files and protection. That is why products are paused after an update until they are adapted to the new version.
During that time the product shows as updating on the status page. Once the developers adapt it, the status returns to undetected. How long that takes depends on the product and the size of the update.
While an update is in progress, the only thing to do is wait. You can play without the cheat in the meantime or switch to another product that is undetected.

Honest ways to lower your Apex ban risk
Rule one: check the status page before every session and only play with a product listed as undetected. In Apex this rule matters even more than in other games.
Rule two: use measured settings. A small FOV, medium smoothing, a chest target and recoil control that leaves a little kick look far more natural in a replay. Use perfect repetitions such as automated movement techniques sparingly too.
Rule three: protect your account and hardware. None of the Apex products has a built-in spoofer; if you have been penalised before, use a separate HWID spoofer and, where you can, a second account.
Rule four: remember you may be watched. Players you kill can spectate you; some products show the spectator count, and Crimson Internal can switch itself off while you are spectated. None of these steps removes the risk, but together they give you a far more controlled experience.
